just bought my cougar yesterday, 99 atx with the 2.5 duratec. Believe it or not i already have a problem. i was drivin my car around town yesterday then parked it in the garage last night. Then in the morning i started it up no problem and went to work after work(8 hrs later) i go out to my car to start it up and it doesnt start! It cranks over just fine batt and alt are ok. The only thing i can think of is there might be water in my fuel lines that froze. Anyone else have any ideas of what the problem might be?

One of which could be the case. Dirty fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires perhaps even the coil pack.

Well i didnt called the guy i bought the car from. Even though i didnt buy the warantee with the car he had me take it to the mechanic and said the will pay for whatever is wrong with it. Since i didnt even have the car for 24 hrs. So that is cool that i dont have to pay anything.
