We (Twisted Vision) want to know how many people want one of the Cougar-S Spoiler.

Currently they're being sold of ebay for £150 ($277) But obviously the more of you buying the spoiler the better!!!

There are no bolts!

The spoiler is stuck on with 3M tape, and after all this time - and rain - mine is still stuck on!! No probs..

US Shipping will be sorted when we know how many people want the spoiler!!!

Can I make a suggestion? Set up some qualifiers for this group by, like "If 10 people buy, price will by $X, if 20 people buy, price will be $Y", etc. I can guarantee there's a lot of people who WANT this spoiler. Without a decent idea of a price though, I don't think you'll get a lot to jump in on it.

I agree if theyre was a set price for X amount of people then I'd be down. Also when we had the No Limit Grill group buy I dont remember who it was but the guy from Australia sent all the grills to Nemesis I think and he distributed them out to the buyers to save on shipping. That would prob. be the best idea once again shipping wise. If thats the case Id do it.

I'm confused. Aren't there tail light covers on the silver Cougar in the pictures?

No they're painted....

U could use them with covers, but you'd have to mod the small peices of the spoiler to fit....

Ok Here are the prices!!

Current cost is £150 in the UK, thats about $260 in America.

Jamie has said the following:

10= 10% off
20= 20% off
30-50 = 30% off
51=100 = 40% off

Hope that clarifies the situation.

I don't think that the price itself is a problem, but I am very curious about how the shipping fee's are going to stack up. I do believe that it would be best to just ship them all to 1 person over here, then have them distribute them out.

Hi guys,

Just sent this link to Jamie @ Twisted Vision. He will post up info on shipping real soon. Good news is the price should be quite cheap as the two parts of the spoiler that sit over the tail lights fit inside the main spolier, so the box is actualy quite small.

Sorry for the delays guys. Jamie is in the process of moving into new larger premises (which will allow him to make the complete Cougar S kit). What I will do is have a word with him, get an idea of size box (per 10 spoilers lets say) and get a price for shipping said box over there. What i need is someone that EVERYONE is happy with, to be the American side of the distribution network. Shipping from this person to your own address will have to be worked out between yourself and the agreed person.
Sound OK with everyone? Once we get a price for shipping them into the states, I will ask everyone that wants one to send me a PM so I can add your name to a list (which I will post on this thread). Once I get 10 people I will ask you to PayPal the money to Jamie (nothing to do with me - I'm just helping him out), and then we can get the spoilers made and shipped out. Turnaround should be quite quick as the mold is already made.

Also, just fyi, he will be starting work on the upper spoiler within the next few weeks.

I'm also interested in the spoiler. So Jamie will for sure be making the Cougar-S body kit!? I was going to look for a body kit now, but the only one I like is the the Roush kit for my 99. If he's going to be making the S kit I'll be all over that like a fat kid on cake! Let me know if you find out when that might happen?

End of this week or begining of next week is when work will start on the (for legal reasons) S "Style" kit. Upper spoiler will be done at the same time.

With regards to the height of the kit, he will be making it inline with the lowest part of the car which is prob the rear silencers on my car. Therefore it won't be ultra low, which is exactly what i want as i would like to be able to clear speed humps etc etc.

I am still waiting to get you guys a price for the boot mounted spoiler, but I am also waiting for someone to be nominated to be the distribution side over there.

Right guys.

The price for the lower Cougar S "type" spoiler has now been finalised.
The below price includes shipping of the spoilers to a central contact in America (for you guys to decide). Therefore you will have to fund your own P&P from this central contact, to your own front door.

If 10 people order they would be $200 each
If 20 people order they would be $190 each
If 30 people order they would be $180 each
If 40 people order they would be $170 each
If 50 people order they would be $160 each

I will set the cut off date for the first "batch" to be Monday 5th December. This will hopefully give us time to make them, and then send them out for you guys to in return, get them yourselves before Christmas. If there is not the minimum number of 10 at this time, I will extend the date but please note, due to Christmas holidays etc, your spoiler may well not arrive until early January.

Please PM your name and I will update this thread with a running tally. One last thing, PayPal will be the most preffered method so if you don't have a PayPal account, you might have to ask to borrow a colleagues etc.

On a side note, the upper Cougar S "Style" spoiler will be ready in January (along with the rest of the kit) and the price will be roughly the same. This will include a strip of LED lights which you can fit yourself if required. I will start a group buy for this nearer that time and once we have some finished photos.

That actually is a really good idea. In fact, I would propose putting it all on hold until you have the S-kit and upper spoiler for sale. If its gonna be early January, well, that won't be until after the holidays, which will make it much easier for people to be abe to pay attention to the buy. Plus you'll be able to offer greater discounts for everyone involved.

In reference to the Upper spoiler: Will this include the brake light? Many (if not all) US states require a 3rd brake light on vehicles, thus the reason I ultimatly would myself wait until both spoilers are available. I realize that we would most likely have to wire up the light itself, but anything the makers can do to make it easier for us to install it properly.

Hmm, January or February release date? Sounds like the perfect thing to buy with tax returns. :evil:

The upper brake light will either be supplied with a strip of LEDs already built into it, or supplied with the spoiler for the owner to fit if they so wish.

Please look in "Exterior Cosmetics" for an update. Please note however, that the company are just finishing off the complete Cougar S kit, and as such haven't started on the upper spoiler yet. They hope to start it next week.
