Just to let you know that it isn't hard to change the Green stock LED's to another color. I attempted that toady. It took me a few hours, but it was well worth it. It is just like the Trip computer mod except there are no holes to enlarge. Just solder them into place. Enjoy....
The Tee Star bits you will need to take the face plate and board off are T7 & T6.

eeeeee gats........that looks damb good though when done...tobad about the screen diplay though....i wonder if it is anything like the trip display screens...scrathc off the green film and add the colour you want...it would be really tight to get it all red...

It most likely can be done just using LED's, but I ran out of time and patience right now. I'll try again later. I shined a red LED behind the Lense and it does glow red.

that looks damn good... anyone want to do a full how to on that so I can try it this weekend? I dont want to mess up my stereo but I just ordered 100 Blue LED's and am getting ready to start this up.

Good job! I am impressed.. I must say though, it's an awful lot of work to do to a stock radio unless you're 100% sure you don't want to upgrade it.

It wasn't too hard, just took alot of time. I just wantef to see what it would look like and it is brighter in person and I like it. It too alot of LED's to do though.. I need to get more and will attempt to to the LCD screen too.
