looking for a Cougar hood

I have a Sunfire, I want to use parts of the hood on a Cougar to graft onto the sunfire hood. what I need to know is if anyone has a hood that they no longer need or want. I dont have much cash, so a hood that has been damaged might work out. I mainly need the nose of the hood for my project so no head on destroyed hoods please.

Check with JAMallott. There is a hood from the Roush Cougar teardown. I was originally going to take it, but the guy that owned the car scratched it up during transport so it wasn't any good to me, but other than that it was in fine shape. I would assume since you will be cutting, blending, and etc that would be just fine for your project. Plus it is still in Medina at gyger's so that wouldn't be too far for you to pick it up.

you live near jlcamp7 right? he has my carbon fiber hood that got messed up in the wreck i believe. i THINK the front nose part that you are talking about is still good on it. so to make it easier on you, easier to cut out and mold on, and lighter, you can probably have that for free.

edit: and it was the OEM CF hood, so its the same nose.

not to down play the carbon fiber idea but i think it would be hard to graft the carbon fiber to the frame or meatal with out welding.. i am slure u could weld supports and then fiberglass or resin it. idk jsut my .02
