Hey guys, I am doing a project for my stats class. If you can just simply answer these questions for me I’d GREATLY appreciate it.
1. Make, Model, Year of car?
2. How much did you pay for the car?
3. Did you get it new or used?
4. What is the stock ¼ mile time?
5. How much $$$ have you spent on performance modifications?
6. What is the ¼ mile time after the modifications?

Please only answer if you have run your car at the track after your performance mods. And only tell the rough amount you spent on performance only mods.
If you don’t want people to know this info you can PM me, Email me, or AIM me. All the info will be kept confident, and then destroyed after I am done with it. None will see this info beside me and my professor.

Purchased in November 2002 w/36,606 miles

Didnt get a chance to run it stock but have seen anywhere from 16.8-18's for stock coug V-6 ATX's

Have spent approx. $1825 on performance, including Trubendz catback, Sho Shop Y-pipe, AEM Intake, SVT Throttle Body, SVT Upper intake manifold, Custom burned Superchip, Ford racing 9mm Wires and Autolite Double Platinum Plugs, and sport tires for my 17 inch rims(not included in $1825)

Best 1/4 mile run was 16.3 (probably could be 16.0 if it wasnt 93 degrees out! lol)

Anymore questions let me know and goodluck with the assignment. Is it for a statistics class? Im taking a statistics for business class next semester and im hoping ill get to do an assigment like this lol.

Never ran it , but are around the high 16s

5. How much $$$ have you spent on performance modifications?

Probably around 3.5k ish out of pocket with a significant more amount dumped in since my last run at a 1/4 mile track so my times are outdated. A good portion of the money went into fuel management, some of it should have gone into some better tires.

6. What is the ¼ mile time after the modifications?

15.3 @ 96mph (Cougarfest2k4- I could have hit lower im sure if the track was prepared correctly with VHT like they were supposed to) I have a hard time getting traction while spraying in the middle/top of first. The TQ is so prominent in the low gears its almost impossible to cure without a nice set of sticky tires. This time was with a heavily tuned AFC and 18s with crappy Ventus tires, 50 jetting of nitrous oxide, and full interior. I plan on being in the middle 14 range, once I get finished with tuning in December, a set of drag radials, and more weight reduction.

Best 1/8th mile time is 9.652 @ 75mph. 60ft time of 2.177 ( Amazing 60 ft time, when everything seemed to be timed just right, no loss of traction)

4. Never ran it stock but should be around 15.5
5. Money spent would be in the range of $12,000. I went through lots of different mods but also sold them to pay for new ones so it might not be entirely accurate but I have spent atleast that much. Pretty sad I know.
6. Quarter mile time now is 14.3 (see sig)
