I'm replacing my now done transmission with my spare year 2k tranny. The transmission has been sittin in a shed for half a year, basically I am wondering what all needs to be replaced as far as seals etc. Any reccomendations on new fluid to use that can be bought locally?

For a transmission thats been sitting, i would change all the seals in it....other than that, i believe put some ATF+3 for 500 miles, then put what ever synthetic you want in it...(MTL most likely) in it and enjoy. Thats what i did with my SVt, and i could not be happier...great shifting. (although i ahd my tranny rebuilt, beofre i did the fluid change).
