It's been a week since anyone posted anything, so I thought I'd do a census and see if everyone is well...
Let's see - what's going on in my life?
--My Cougar wife is ignoring me, or at least that's what she told me.
--I'm taking an overnight trip to Myrtle Beach (sorry, Tom!) to see Queensryche on Friday.
--I'm still loving the subwoofer in the Cougar. I find that I'm more likely to relax and listen to the music, instead of rushing to my destination. :)
--I have new speakers for the Impala, but I'm not sure when I'll get them in. (To replace the rear speakers, the rear seats have to come out ... thanks GM! And I've heard the door panels are no picnic either - someone in the Impala club said it took them 3 hours to replace the front speakers...) Kenwood 4-way 6x9s for the back, Kenwood 3-way 6-3/4" for the front.
How are you all doing?

If RJ's Cougar wife was truly ignoring him, she wouldn't respond to this post!
Lots of stuff going on here, none cougar related. High school reunion, marathons up the wazoo, travel, blah blah blah! I can't wait for November!
Hmmm... Let's see- Not much going on, except for selling our townhouse! It's on the market, and we're looking at single family homes around the same area, maybe Braemar or something... Double car garage a must, the kitchen goodies and so forth for the wife, etc... Will post more when we have more to post...

Dan!
Way cool! I have a ton of friends who live in Braemar! That's an excellent development! Good luck and let us know if you need help moving and such!

Good luck, Dan! You're living my dream! (Well, at least the two-car garage part of it. :) )
And that's "not much going on"? I'd hate to see what "we're really busy" is like for you!

nice now I have a place to park my srt-4 at meets! =). I go to braemar all the time.Nothing much going in my life. School of course, work is hectic as always at best buy, and still looking for a lucky lady of course.
"Hectic" usually involves several cars in various states of disassembly in/around my garage- At one point I had 4 Duratecs in my garage in various states of dead/repairing/rebuilding...
Just speaking car-wise, of course- Other busy things include the adoption of two more ferrets (and two weeks later we lost Gandalf, our dark-eyed white :( )...

So are you up to five ferrets now? Was Gandalf the one with the serious health problems? I'm sorry to hear that you lost him.

i love ferrets. I want one!
We have four- This year we lost Bandit (suddenly, spleen tumor), and Gandalf (known since January that he had heart disease- Doctors gave us 6 months- He lasted almost 11).
So the tally is:
We have the new guys, Merry and Pippin, our senior fert and only surviving original member of the group, Galadriel, and our other adopted fert Kirby.
Update on the house- We bought a new one! The resales around here were pricy, but we got a terrific deal with Ryan homes, the builder of our townhouse (awesome builder, BTW) who had a lot come back on the market when the original purchaser's financing fell through. So, the place will be done in March.

 When am I not up for a party???
And a big hello to everybody! I hope everyone's well, things are okay on my end, staying way too busy, but my practice is starting to pick up. Nothing special to report on the Cougar, tho, beside the fact that the last couple months have been entirely curse-free!!!
Dan, congrats on the house! I know you won't miss the Nissan traffic next summer.
RJ, I'm completely jealous that you got to go to Myrtle Beach, how was the show (HOB, I take it?), and were you singing along loudly to Jet City Woman?

HOB it was. Nice venue! I don't think they played Jet City Woman. :(
I didn't sing along loudy to anything. I wasn't in the "rabid fans" section, unfortunately. I was apparently in the "mild fans that can stand to leave early" section...

Wow, already selling/sold the townhouse? I remember when we all drove by it while it was still under construction... or was that Trevor's. Had to be Trevor's b/c it was near Worldcom. -shrug-

Hallo peoples.
Life is same is usual fro me.
Try to spend a lot of time with the kid. When hes not around I'm drinking and working on a new project.
Cougar is quirky, tranny is really chunky feeling. Alignment is out of wack again. I have a major exhaust leak, but I actually think it made my car more quiet.
OH OH!! and I came within inches of swiping a median on 395 the other day when it was raining. It seems that the clever engineers out here do not know how to build a road that drains properly, I think there was at least an inch or so just sitting on the surface. I hydroplaned for at least a few hundred feet. I was more than sure it was all over. But i pulled it out of the spin. 1/4 mile down the road there was a sedan and a taxi facing the other way. I am assuming it was the same reason. I guess i should have bald tires, I think I was going about 25 over too.

 Welcome to the DC area, Chris! Perhaps the engineers were sharing the crack pipe with Mayor Barry when they were designing the roads. Or they rode the short Metrobus into work. Whichever.
