Well all I can says is Burrrr, it was freezing out there in the open (40 some degrees with 20 to 30 mph winds). We had a good turnout with 9 Cougars (gyger, jlcamp7, pyro, akronstreetracer, silverkat, imgeorge, racerx, linkman, and myself). I'm not sure how many Contours were there, but I would estimate 7 or 8. I wish I could have taken more pics, but I didn't think of it until too late at Summit. We then went to Rocknes (the caravan wasn't exactly our best since it didn't take long for us to get separated by traffic and red lights). Thanks to Dom for the Cheesy Fries (he bought them for all of us). We had 14 people show up for dinner. racerx shocked a lot of us by driving his car from Youngstown and unfortunately in the process cracked is roof scoop from body flex (nice to see you there Brian, sorry about the car though). pyro followed me home (we passed akronstreetracer in Munroe Falls going the other way) and then jlcamp7 came over later. We sat and relaxed and watched Matrix Revolutions (Jamie had never seen it). In all it was a good day, freezing, but good none the less. I hope others will post there pics up on the Ohio website soon. Of course mine wont be up for a long time since I only took 2 and they were the first 2 on a roll of 24 pictures. Glad to see everyone again and I can't wait to see you all again and gyger's house.

I definately had a good time! I finally had my cougar at a meet. It was nice finally meeting Gyger, and some of the contour family. I too thank Dom for the cheesy fries. Thanks for the compliments George. As for those of you that have not yet been to Jasons house, it is very nice(thanks again for the hospitality man)! All around it was just a great day, that I had been looking forward to forever. It couldn't have been better, other then maybe about 2000 degrees warmer. lol Once I finish this roll of film I will get them scanned and throw them up. I am still deciding if I will post the Diane pic or not? lol
George- that first pic that Sarah took of your cougar, is my favorite pic of your cougar. I saved it for a background on my computer.

I had a good time as well. It was worth the trip! Even worth missing the free ticket to Interpol / Secret Machines ;)
I guess Jamie's Cougar does exist after all LOL.
Mad props to Brian (RacerX) for driving his Cougar to the meet. You have to respect a man who lets the rubber meet road on more than a trailer!
Only two problems - the freakin' cold, that wind chill sucked :( and not getting to talk to the Contour guys too much. But the George / Sarah / Diane table was laughing too hard to go make friends :)
Dom's Contour sounds bad @ss, and looks schweet - the paint really sets it off.
Shameless self-promotion -> If you want reflection ownage...
check this pic of George's out http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/attachments/contourmeet4.jpg
That's after 134 miles of I-71 and random drizzle, and a couple miles to Rockne's. Yea! for Zymol :)

Nice photos, guys; wish I could have been there. But I was having an...okay time in Detroit at the time.
On a side note, I finally have my SVT TB installed, and boy did my car ever need that - I got all of my low end back, with interest. I frequently have more horsepower than traction now, though; so it's like learning to drive the car all over again; I rarely use WOT, as partial throttle is breaking the tires loose most of the way through second gear. Can't wait to get it back to the drag strip, though.

Yeah, Brian surprised me by driving his car up to the meet as well. Which is freakin sweet! Too bad your roof scoop cracked.
Other than the cold i also had a blast. Food was great, too. They sure know how to pile up on the fries, lol.
Hey, i actually got to Jason's house this time
Thanks for having us over man

Except for the sucky cold, I had a good time. It's so nice to get us together. I didn't get any pictures at lunch because I couldn't stop laughing long enough.

The next morning Mark and I went to breakfast and saw this Cougar. The girl walked away, pushed the lock button on her FOB, then continued to walk into Denny's - completely neglecting to shut her door

it's parked next to my buddies WRX.....no one got pictures of our cars cause they are so slow...
Actually we got there after those pics were taken cause we were working on my wife's Eclipse all morning.
Has Dom ever run that 3.0 at the track? I'd like to run that car now that I can somewhat shift again.....somewhat
either way alot of nice looking cougars and contours that day
I'm glad I got to pick up that jack for my truck but I forgot the NGK plugs for my nitrous:banghead:

Now I feel like a jerk cuz I didn't get picture of Gyger or the WRX. I sorry. Steve - I really like your car in primer. If it was a more evenly done primer job I'd say keep it that way.

Hehe, forgot the plugs huh? Here's Mike at the counter, "yea, that's the jack, oh yea there was something else I wanted, hmmm, ehhh, shoot, ehhhhhhh, I can't remember, it's not important, that's all then." Not IMPORTANT, the Cougar ISN'T IMPORTANT, Making it go FASTER ISN'T IMPORTANT?!?!?!?!?!!!! Hehe, just kidding Mike, it's too bad your forgot them. Oh, well, you just have to make another trip to Akron, and maybe this time stop by my place, hehe. I'm sure Dom has taken it to the track since I know they have taken all of their other creations to the track after they were finished. What his time was I couldn't tell you. I'm sure when Brian reads your post he will give us the shake down on Dom's car.

Sarah is THE on-the-road-picture-taking goddess. For a small fee, I will drive Sarah in my car and she can take a picture of your car in motion.
