i have a chiltons book it list all kinds of codes but none match up with the ones i have.the ones in the book all start with Ps and a few Us followed buy numbers.but like i said it doesnt match up with any thing the car gave me .99 atx.

the codes you see in the DTC are not the same codes you read in the book
the codes in the book would be the ones you'd pull from a "check engine"
light.
DTC 9318 and one other I forgot... are common
one is fuel pump sender relay, and the other is for Alt voltage drop below 10amp

Here is a listing of the tests of Self Diagnostic Mode
1. Gauge Sweep (5 seconds up 5 seconds down)
2. ROM Level (Revision of ROM software)
3. Indicator Bulbs and Display
4. NVM Level (checks the HEC(hybrid electric cluster) revision
5. A/D Test (Battery)
6. Port Test (HEC) Input/Output
7. Road Speed
8. Engine Speed
9. Engine Coolant temp
10. Guage Counts (displayed in Hexadecimal)
t(temp)
r(Tach RPMs)
s(speedo)
f(fuel guage)
11. Fuel Pulses(counts fuel pulses, this relates to the MPG gauge in the cluster)
12. DTC(Diagnostic Trouble Codes)
9201-Fuel sender circuit failure
9204-Fuel Sender short to ground
9257-Climate control
9317- Battery Voltage higher than 16V
9318-Battery Voltage Lower than 10V
9342-ECU defective
9359-Ignition Run/ACC circuit failure
0115-Engine coolant temperature(ECT) circuit malfunction.
