Okay well today i was gonna install my amp and subs, with an aftermarket deck, but i couldnt get it out. SO toamrrow im going to use the nail thoery. But i also have a question. i bought a RCA hookup that wires into your factory deck, cause i wanted to keep my 6 disc changer, So.. Where do i connect my AMP antenna wire to? What color wire of the factory deck?? Thanks - Josh
BTW its a Orion 600D amp, and 2 P12 Series subs

If you want to keep your 6disc, then you have to keep your stock headunit. You can't interface aftermarket with the stock components. I would encourage you to read up on this topic in this forum, if you have any other questions.

I think he is keeping the factory deck but using a line-level converter. I was looking for the post we used to have stickied about the wire colors behind the radio, but I can't find it!
RevItUp - your amp antenna wire? Do you mean the remote turn-on lead? If so, the accessory power wire is the one you'd want, unfortunately I don't know which it is.

It should either be orange or blue!!! Most the time the illumination lead is orange but it can be the remote/power antenna wire!!!!

ya im keeping everything stock, just adding a amp and subs, but i need the amp power wire color, but dont worry im gettin it professionalkly installed :| I start taking the [censored] apart and i hell ill just get it done.. :P

dont bother putting or remote wire on your deck! put it on your radio fuse, easiest way to do it!
