ive looked in the book and it says 3157 NA (It may be right)...but from what ive heard the book is an unrealiable source for looking up bulb numbers, ive had this experience myself. Anyways im looking for the bulb number on the front turn signals, NOT the sidemarkers. They are the stock Big orange bulbs in your headlights that blink when u do a turn signal or have your lights on. I know ive seen a cougar before with a different color other than orange, id like to find red ones. If anyone could tell me what number they are or provide a link for a site that sells the kind im looking for id really appreciate it!

yeah I have white. I got them at superbrightleds.com Here (http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm) they are half way down the page. They have white, red, amber, and blue. I have the 21 leds and they have a new 25 led. When you change these out they will make your turn signal blink fast. You can get the load resistor right below them. I personally like it faster, everyone has slow, got to be different.

do i need 1 load resisiter per headlight so that means i have to get 2 of them.. or will one resistor work for both headlights??

Honestly I don't know. Pm Excelcier, he can give you the skinny on it. I would think 1 per side. I was told that it if you put in a heavy duty flasher it will do the same. I haven't tried it yet though.

I believe you need one load resistor for each bulb you replace with an LED or else the computer detects the wrong resistance and thinks you have a burned out bulb. I don't think changing the flasher has anything to do with it but I've never tried it because I don't see the connection. I myself have LED rear lights replacing all my stock bulbs in the back but I never bought any of the load resistors because they're overpriced and a pain to mount because they are large. I just let my lights blink fast and forget it.
