went to hin last night. wasnt a bad show but definetly not worth 25 bucks. the best part of the night was tearing up a saturn ion redline. there was only one cougar there it was the racer x cougar the guy lives down by me. But he acts stuck up and only talks to certain people. i hope someday he makes that car run better than 16's and stop making it all show. i was dissapointed i took like 800 bucks to buy some parts and there wasnt anything other than shirts for sell.

dude! there was a group of 7 (8 including racerx) that went! you should have meet up with us!!! and yes, racerx has big horsepower plans that he and i talked about last night, so dont worry. i had a blast, and got a porn star's autograph. ill upload my pics (i didnt get a lot because my battery was like dead, so i just took mainly pics of models lol) to the ohio neco site today for all to enjoy. personally, i feel i got my money's worth. and i caught a free t-shirt ;)

Who else drove the Redline?!? I took a test-drive in one of those a few weeks ago, and I'd take it home in a minute...

Dude, do you have ANY idea how stressed I was last night??? I got to the show friday night, set up my entire display alone, then arriving back there saturday afternoon to pay for my electricity, finish prepping the car, standing sat the car from 4PM until 10:30 when I was finally judged, then also dealing with some potential sponsors. You see, yesterday was an 19 hour day for me and I WONT defend myself to anyone. I am sorry if you feel I am "stuck up", but by your thread post count, YOU DONT KNOW ME. After a post like that, I dont much care if you like me or not, its a simple case of mind over matter. I dont mind cuz you dont matter......
One final thing, the car WAS NOT built for drag strip passes, thats why I work on a DRAG CAR, if you want to put YOUR money where your mouth is, I got a DRAG CAR and I will give you 4 seconds head start..... I built my car the way I wanted it to be, not for anyone else.

Brian's really not such a bad person once you get to know the guy. I've had no problems with him at least:shrug:
But yeah, i thought HIN was cool. I was also expecting more stuff to be for sale but wasn't really disapointed there wasn't. Besides, i was too busy staring at cars and hotties to care:naughty:
The freestyle battles were cool as well. Except for the one guy that rapped to damn fast to understand him. His opponent ripped into him hard cause of that, which was awesome:thumbsup:
By the looks of some of those cars i should of entered mine. God knows i could of stomped them.
I think the only downside to the whole event was when my front bumper support/foglight bracket came off...
Wanaplay, did you take your cougar? If so, was it the one that had some body work done to it but not finished and sides that looked like they had side skirts at one point in time?

Dude, what was up with the hand signals you were making in the pics with the models? Were you trying to point at them or something as if to tell us "This chic is hot!"?

Glad to see some pics! Looks like the car is still looking good Brian, glad to see it getting some good show times.
Lets try to keep this topic on subject and forget about personal comments. That can be taken up in PM's. Also for being a Newbie, you don't know Brian, and even if you did, this isn't a place to post stuff like that. Please refrain from personal attacks or you will be striked.
Thanks everyone!!

Yeah you are!
just kidding
lol:rofl:
I only met Brian once, and he was super nice. I unfortunately had a retreat to go to this weekend, but if I wouldn't have, I would have definately drove up on Friday to help you out Brian.
I am not trying to get off subject, but I believe all comments that regard how you feel about people that is in a serious manner as what you said wanaplay should be kept to yourself. I am glad that you have joined the Ohio NECO since I know we all love having new people join, but being brand new as you are and talking about someone that you don't even know, is not very cool man. Think about everything coming at Brian for this show. I mean he had alot going on, so don't call him stuck up just because he didn't have time to talk to you at the biggest show in Northern Ohio.
Nice pics George(Actually I guess the credit goes to Sarah). And as John said, racer-x just keeps looking hotter and hotter( uh I mean the car :naughty: )
Even though I didn't get to go, Aaron and I had an "unofficial" neco meet for 5 minutes at a gas station on Saturday. lol

RacerX, car looks good as always, how did you finish?

I placed 2nd in 2door mild (1st was an impreza with 7 TV's) and also placed 3rd in best lighting display...

IMHO tv's in cars are over rated. Seriously, i know they do it just for show points, but who cares if tv's are popping out of every place you can wire one in. Kinda stupid if you as me...

I had a good time. It's not often we get that kind of thing in this area. It was cool leaving the show with all these modded cars driving around town. Slade said it'd be one of the few times to see all those cars together in one place. Thanks to Aaron and Pyro for making the trip - hope it was worth it. Guess I'll post some pics on Ohio Neco's page. My pics came out all blurry though.
Brian, you were looking good. Congrats on your 2nd and 3rd place wins. Nice to see you as always, even though you're kind of an a$$hole.

Congrats on the 2nd and 3rd place finishes. I wish I could have gone to see your car and all the other cars. Was the other car actually better than yours or was it like the time you were beat by a stock corvette (stupid judges)? I agree that the trend to put more and more tvs in your car has gotten out of hand. The pics look nice and your car is looking hot as always Brian. If you come to Summit are you planning on bringing the Cougar?
racerx
10-11-2004, 01:14 PM
I am trying to bring the cougar, right now its sitting in the garage awaiting the passenger door to be removed;). The Imprezza RS was a nice car, total fiberglassed and patined interior, 17in monitor in the trunk that was motorized and TV's in the doorpanels. It was just a bit "more" than my car so I am not at all upset about finishing 2nd to it.

So does that meen if we see it at the meet that it will be sporting some new wings/doors?!?! I hope so!
The Cougar just begs for Lambo style doors with the frameless window.

Wow! custom_images/emoticons/shocked.gif Brian your Cougar is looking fantastic as always. Wish I could have seen it in person, the setup for this show looked a little more involved than the parking lot display at CF2k4 ;)
Wished I could have made it up there :( Especially after OU threw away the game in the last 1:41 :(

Aaron, your pics with the models make me oh so proud! The Shocker is visible in several pics!! Way to represent!!
Sorry I couldnt be there, but my Great Uncles 90th party was awesome, saw some of my family from as far away as Texas and a few I hadn't seen in over 8 years, since my G-mas funeral...
Brain also glad to hear you did well, I have to say your car was looking great at CF and cant wait to see whats next. Plus TV's score points but man, I agree with Brian(pyro) they are over rated.....
Good stuff!
Thanks for all the great pics everyone!

Not gonna lie here, she doesnt look that hott from my view... Altho shes gotta be pretty nice she is a model, but I dunno, maybe its just how the shorts sit on her butt or something...
Anyways, the car takes the win in that pic!
Well, she wasnt the best there or anything but that pic doesnt do her justice. Anyway, I thought the show was the best Ive personally seen. There was actually stuff to do and see and not just walk around and look at the same old cars you see every weekend at the local (insert various store parking lots here).
Brian's car looked great and I think I should point out to this member who aparently has a problem with Brian having a show car; Maybe a few things you should know- not that I have to back him up:
1. His car has OVER 80K miles of action and still shows with the original red paint
2. His car has seen the autocross track and was untouchable by the rest of us cougars
3. His car has seen the drag stip as well and sorry that he didnt run the best time off the bottle and with a bad tranny and with a hatch full of ICE.
4. A show car is a show car but he also races go-carts (and wins championships) and he and his brother have a drag car that runs 9's
5. 99% of the car is paid for by BRIAN, not parts given by sponsors
Scoreboard.
Oh and if you think HE is arrogant you might not wanna come to Cougarfest cuz a couple other members on here will re-define A-hole for ya.
