I'm already planning on doing this next year!! I had planned to do the Bay Bottom Crawl (http://www.evscc.com/baybottommain.htm) this year, but the hurricanes have made it impossible to take the whole weekend away from home.
In prep for this, our Fort Myers club is making lemonade out of our hurricane lemons by having our Sept. event doubled up with our Oct. event this coming weekend, and using a clockwise course on Sat and a counter-clockwise course on Sun. The Crawl is actually more of a Solo than SoloII event: it's one car at a time on a closed road, with added challenges via cones. I understand that someone ends up in the swamp or smacks a tree each year, but I want to do it anyway.
We're just starting our season -- we (usually) race Septemberber - June, taking off July & Aug. Most years, I'll have 2 events before the crawl, to get some recent seat time.
