contour.org New England chapter is currently doing planning for its annual Fall Meet.
I believe this year will be the 4th annual Fall Meet.
Prior fall meets have been at Applefest Mt Wachusett, MA and Annheuser Busch plant tour with cruise of Merrimack, NH. Meets center around enjoying an hour long cruise (with picture stops) to enjoy NE's finest foliage, attending events that celebrate classic NE fall weather, and then dinner with the craziest car mofo's ever.
Well this year we're moving farther north into NH.
We're hoping to do a cruise of the Kancamagus Hwy (Rt 112 Conway - Lincoln NH).
Fine details have yet to be determined for events other than the cruise.
We have had NECO representation every year to these, so contour.org is yet again extending an invitation to any and all who would like to enjoy one of the last nice cruises of the year before old crappy winter rolls in.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's most likely going to end up on the 9th or 10th, judging by some of the responses thusfar.

Oct 2nd is Tasca Mustang showdown at NE Dragway
you can go to that.
I'll be there showing.
I spoke too soon about the 9/10th weekend (less people able to make it, and I just found out I had plans for the 10th). So at this point I'm just waiting for more people to chime in.

Looks like we're going to do Oct 16th.
meeting place and time, as well as exact route are still to be determined.
I think we might go do a test run this coming weekend to hammer out an exact route and agenda.

...submitted for your consideration:
Mike and I enjoyed a nice drive yesterday trying to map out a great route and activities/eats along the way.
Here's a rough agenda. Feel free to post up feedback.
This year is going to be a hike for some people, but hey, it's all about the cars, so why not have a bunch of driving.
October 16th, Saturday
10:00 meet up off I-93 North shortly after Hooksett tolls (75 cents) at the NH State Liquor store rest stop.
10:30 gather up and head north on 93 toward exit 24 Holderness
11:00ish arrive at exit 24. Short stint through main street, left onto Rt 113 - where the twisties and hills begin!
12:00ish Hour of twisties ends, arrive in Conway area. Stop at Mobil station to park and eat lunch. Subway located adjacent to Mobil. McD's up the road a bit as well.
1:00ish gather up and prepare for cruise on the Kancamagus Rt 112.
2:00ish arrive at end of scenic drive in Lincoln. Keep on 112 and head to Lost River for some cave exploration and all around goofing off.
4:00ish head back to Lincoln for some drinks and eats at the Common Man restaurant scroll for Lincoln location (http://www.thecman.com/HTML/Restaurant_body.html)
??:00 head home happy. For reference, the drive south from Lincoln to Manchester is about an hour.
Like I said, lots of driving, but the view is spectacular. Definitely worth it. The cars will love the fresh cool air.
I believe we put around 230 miles on the our car yesterday while plotting things out.

Wish this was a Sunday. It is impossible to get any more Saturdays off for a while. Please take lots of pics! I'm looking forward to a fall drive. I have tried to get lost on some of the backroads lately but they always come out to some place I know after a few minutes. A nice long windy road like you are talking about would be ideal. Have fun!

Kim,
Looks like it was an awesome meet -- I grew up in that area & worked in North Woodstock for a few years. Some great pics you all posted....I recognized the area on quite a few of them (and not just the liquor store).

;) when we took exit 24, there happened to be another Liquor store right off the highway. Since we already met up at the one in Hooksett, everyone was starting to call the cruise a "tour of NH liquor stores" instead. hehehe
coincidence I swear.
Although all the CT guys stocked up on the cheap, tax free liquor. They were like kids in a candy store.
Thanks for the comments
