OK Guys, I'm gonna try and breathe some life into this group if it kills me.

SATURDAY September 18th at NO PROBLEM RACEWAY, Midnight Drags!

I am planning on going with a local Gonzales club I got involved in, I'd love if some of my NECO buddies would join us. We are gonna bring a BBQ, cook some food, watch some races and whoever wants can race too. Gonna have a nice turnout of some cool ppl with cool cars and trucks from the Gonzales area, (all domestic, might I add) so COME OUT and have a good time.

And if you wanna see a duratec kicking ass, I'm sure the guy from houma with the TURBO SVT CONTOUR yes that right I said TURBO! will be there and shooting for 12's. YES A POSSIBLE 12 SECOND DURATEC! witness it first hand but only if you get off your arses and come! Let me know ASAP so we can plan out food and stuff and coordinate with my other group. thats a helluva trip for some racin, you sir are dedicated! lol gates of track open at 9, racing starts at 10 and goes til 2 I really am not quite sure what time I am going to get to the track yet, I need to talk to my girlfriend and see if she wants to go, she has work til 10. I'll post up on here soon as I know! she sleeps kinda late sometimes I'll PM u my phone # just in case. If you guys want a hotel there are some good ones in Gonzales off of I10 exit 77, that is probably where I'm gonna set up a meeting spot since there is a big shopping center (Tanger Mall) there which is easy to find. Track is $10 a person to race or watch, must wear long pants if your planning on racing, no shorts.

In addition to people from around my area, zeteckat should be coming with his cougar, and xphiler from the contour enthusiasts group is probably coming with her contour. cougar519 was interested, I'm gonna call him tomorrow too. Anybody else better hop on quick!

Ok well it is 100% that me and my wife will be there! All we need is a time and place to meet. Yait is a long way computer says 4 1/2 hours. But we have never been down there and we love to travel so what the hell is the basic answer. This also gives me a chance to meet up w/ others in this club! I'm PM'ing you my cell # just incase anything changes while I'm inroute, I'm leaving to go there at 1030 (So call me if the spot of the meet changes at all.

Dave, Christian, Heather from CEG and myself made the trip had a good time even though our cars had bad ones. we arent gonna mention what we ran, lets just say I had tranny problems and dave had some unknown issue that caused him to not run his best lol. If dave or christian could get me copies of the videos that would be awesome, PM me for address and let me know if you need anything to cover cost of a tape and shipping...least my car looked good running like crap! I forgot my digital camera, so no pics, but we had fun. all you other guys missed out.

If you absolute cant get the alt. changed try Johnny Robinson Auto, they did mine a few months ago, was about 500. I only didnt do it myself cause we werent sure what it was, had to get towed from BR so we just brought it to my friends shop. I'm in gonzales, come by the Sonic or the Picou parkin lot next door on a friday or saturday, I should be out next weekend if my car gets out of the shop. just look for the silver svt on gunmetal 17's.

yeah i wasnt out last weekend either, car has been at Master Transmission for about 2 weeks. i should be out this weekend though

I've been around the contour/cougar scene for awhile, can hopefully steer you in the right direction. what color is your car? any mods yet?

no mods yet its silver ,ohh,stero and some crapy speakerbox out of my ranger,installed 2 speakers on my back dash .thats all but i dont consider those mods.the out side is stock

hey ryan, got the new wheels a month or so ago...havent driven on them much cause the cars been in the tranny shop getting a minor problem fixed...they broke more stuff and have been fixing that but at least they have been honest about it.

Chance: car might not be done by the weekend after all...the shop has to start over rebuilding the tranny again, they say if they dont get it by tomorrow afternoon we're getting a rental...so I might be out in a rental or my mom's taurus...not sure yet. I'll post up here if I go out though.

we ended up playing musical parking lots with the cops, ended up at the Stage lot til about 2:30, shift cable end link popped off on the way home cause the shop put the wrong one on, so I'm in a rental white impala tonight.
