HOLY CRAP I just realized that my mph is a tad bit higher than yours'
and I ran a 14.8........:disgust: I never could launch this car
2.202 60' / 9.603 @ 74.51 1/8 / 14.829 @ 96.69mph

Gyger after looking over my setup I think the reason you'd have a higher top speed is because I'm still running the 2" cat section and a 2.25" borla exhaust. It would give me a little more torque down low but kill the top end, which is what was shown on my dyno graph a while back. With svt cams the car should make power to redline but mine started to die out because of the exhaust.

Sorry to revive an old thread. :)

that is no where near the fastest all motor times!!! you should go look on contour.org and do a search in the dyno&drag section of the forums! Demon(Greg) ran a 13.9 on street tires and a 13.4 with drag radials both at 102mph! oh yeah all motor 3L.......

i know he might have meant cougar times, but all he stated was "fastest alll motor times i have seen so far". he said nothing of cougar/contour/mystique...

That and the fact I have blown struts and I can't launch woth a POO thus giving me major
wheel spin and increasing my final speed.:(

8s but not a duratec thats for sure. Some huge v8 most likely.

Duratec in the 13s is good news to me. That means its possible to do the same in a cougar

There is no such possibility for a cougar to get in the 13's...IT IS A FACT!!! ;)

i need to start makin my posts more clear :)

this is the fastest all motor cougar i've seen

it's not the fastest all motor car (including non-cougar) i've ever seen

i've seen all motor cars (non-cougar) in the 8's

care to explain your FACT?

If a SVT 3.0 contour can do 13s all motor. And Turbo Contours/Cougars are already in the 13s...why is it impossible?

With the right driver and the proper suspension setup it is cetainly not impossible. It just so happens the Contour guys are far more serious about performance than us here at FastCougar. (and that is a FACT) Same engine, same suspension, similar weight. So what exacly doesnt add up here?

Hell you give me some time and my 2650lb soon to be 3.0 cougar just may suprise you.
