I thought I read a FAQ in this section and it had a link to a web site where you could order a regulation helmet but I guess not, so if someone could point me in the right direction (either website or stores) where I could find a helmet it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

They are all rated M2000 or SA2000 they would be allowed for Autocross.
I think SCCA allows back to another rating but all new helmets I think are already
rated 2000.
The Main difference between M and SA is the M is motorcycle and doesn't have Nomex fire protecting in it... otherwise
if I remember correctly simular models with different designations are otherwise constructed the same.
I have one of these.

In white...
Keep in Mind M2000 may not be allowed during track days, on real race tracks.
But SA2000 would be.

If your wanting something kinda cheap, you can go by any local motorcycle shop and pick up a new open face helmet for pretty cheap. I cant really think of any places that sell helmets that are so old/out of date that they're not rated for SCCA solo-II competition.
