My first and only BAD experience buying privately on the internet. I bought the G-tech pro comp he advertised as this:

So I paid for it via paypal. Took a little long on the shipment but not horrible. What I got was a G-tech, bracket and power cord thats it. The bracket is cracked and the windshield mount falls off after 2 days of heat. I DID NOT recieve the PC cable, PC software, manual, or permanet mount bracket. I sent a e-mail the replies were slow but I finally recieved this:

"Jesse, I deeply apologize, my friend packaged the unit for me and shipped
it. I do have the serial cable and manual, I told him to put it in as
well, but he didnt. As for the crack , are you reffering to the piece where
the ball slides in? I got that brand new from Gtech for free and it came
that way? I will ship out the manual and cable. As for the software, it was
outdated, but the new version can be downloaded for free, here
(http://www.gtechprosupport.com/support/ ) . I also updated the firmware
already. Once again, i apologize for this and I will try my best to
rectify the situation for you.

Very apologetic no problem I say, I have read all GOOD reviews on George on this site so I wait. That e-mail was July 15th, its been over two weeks and I have sent a e-mail asking for updates, nothing. Nothing in the mail. I'm disappointed with George, I know people are busy and maybe he couldn't get to the net but its been two weeks, if he was worried he would have found a way. Actually I guess he did find a way, he posted this link on the 26th:

Lets hope George can get re-interested in this transaction and remedy the siutation.

Well, the only thing i can say is that the 15th was a week before Fest and that on the way back George has somebody in his caravan break down and had to stay behind which threw him off a day. My opinion of George is that he's a stand-up guy and will take care of you.

Jason, you can delete this if you want but considering it's civil maybe you'll let it stay? ;)

DgnZCoug is helping to resolve the issue at this point. Next post should be an update from the buyer.

This problem is now remedied... I have been notified by George all is well. I would appreciate confirmation by Kinger at his convenience.
