Well a nice day of getting out of work a little early was ruined by some stupid middle school dumbasses. As I was just starting to drive home from work going South on Sweethome, three little dicks decided to throw a rock or something hard at my car. It hit right above the driver's side rear wheel. It left about three little chips in the paint, it's roughly comparable to paint chips you would normally see on the hood.

Anyways, after I heard the thump on my car I immediately looked at them, then looked to make a U-turn but there was too much traffic. So I made a quick right into a business driveway and made a quick turnaround to get back on to the road. As soon as I made the turn into the driveway I saw the kids running away. I saw them run off east on an interesecting street Commerce Drive. I went down that way but didn't see them. So I stopped the car for a sec, took a look at the damage and proceeded back the way I came. Sure enough I saw the kids just walking back to Sweethome. I floored it again to go after them and again they took off running. At this point they headed north and I just decided I could be chasing them all evening with more possible damage to my car so I just headed home all pissed off.

In retrospect, it's probably better that I didn't catch them because I would have beat them to near death. Then I probably would have been charged with assault, and sued by parents that don't know how to f'n raise their kids. Also I suppose it would have looked bad to beat the s*** out of some 12 yr. olds right next to a busy street. Either way, it still pisses me off. If there's one thing I can't stand it's damaging other people's property for no reason whatsoever. And yes I would have called the cops had I a cell phone, but since I purchased Angie's ring I've been trying to save a little money. I would have loved to have just gotten at least one fist right into their stupid face.

Very sorry to hear that man...

Some kids just do not understand the personal/emotional value of someones car. It pisses me off to think that there are people out there that get a kick or thrill out od damaging someone else's stuff.

I would have caught them, and somehow found a way to get a cop there. Personally, I probably would have beat them senseless as well but hey, cant risk more trouble than its worth.

I hope you can get that fixed up.

Have a good night

well, chances are the little dents in your car are just from daily driving, crap falling from trees you're parked under, etc. But, I hear you, I am pissed about all my little dents, but they aren't worth fixing at this point because I know they'll be back.

I mean, I never did crap like that when I was a kid, but I was always fascinated with breaking bottles and other stuff I would come across, as I am SURE everyone else is guilty of. Unfortunately some kids who's parents never taught them right, take it to a-whole-nother level and are just @ss-$hits. I have had everything from coffee cups thrown at my car to eggs to whatever else. Thankfully nothing has been serious, but the day I find my car keyed in the day I flip my lid and beat up a random person. Then they can go after the next random person they see, and so on and so on. Eventually it will catch up to the person who originally keyed my car.

Seriously though, you should carry a digital camera or something with you, that way you can snap a shot of the kids and bring it to the police station. I want to figure out how much it would cost to hook up a video surveilance system in my car with like 1 or 2 mini cams to just look out for that crap. The worst part about it is that these kids will forget all about their cheap thrill by tomorrow when the next pack of baseball cards is bought and meanwhile you probably have $100+ worth of fixing to do. I mean christ, if you want to do something funny to someone's car, at least get something like the glass chalk and write stuff on their car, then at least you can laugh and the person can just wash it off.

Yeah, a lot of kids in today's world dont have any respect. Even though I just graduated HS last month, You can really get pissed off by some of the younger kids. A couple years ago, I just about beat the crap out of some 14 year old cuz he threw rocks at my Jeep and put abunch of big dents in it. Then earlier this year, a kid was totally pissed off at me cuz I beat him in a race (his 96 Camaro V6 vs. my 1986 Honda Accord hatchback). He tried beating me up every day for the next 2 months it seemed. When I traded the Honda in in April and got my Coug, the 3rd day I had it he put a scratch on the back of the trunk, right above the "V6". I really dont understand why people have to go mess with peoples cars. I had another friend that had his Integra BLOWN UP by some people from a nearby town because of some sh!t talkin between the 2 towns. When I say BLOWN UP, I mean BLOWN UP. They broke out the drivers window, threw gasoline inside, and lit it. Absolutly gutted his car. He had about $5000 into the car, and he lost it all. Whats worse, the firefighters were laughing and taking their sweet time to try to put it out. The police and fire in the town are totally baised against the teens in the town, and towards the mexicans, too. This kid was a 19- year-old mexican. This is a good example of older generations treating young people like crap, for no reason. Oh well, another rant for another day.

unfortunately it doesn't quite matter at all when putting out a car fire... by the time anyone gets there it's going to be junk. As far as I know it's more about containing the car fire than anything else, mainly because water doesn't put out gasoline fires. But, we all know it, kids are DUMB.

A bunch of kids in my high school, a few years after I graduated, were caught leaving cherry bombs or something in people's mailboxes. "The Fonda Bombers" They were all on the football team, sons of teachers and school board members. "They're fine upstanding young people" or some bs like that, they didn't get punished. One of them even got like full scholarship to MIT...

Monday I find out that one or more of these "fine upstanding youth" beat up some guy at a stag party Saturday night. The guy was on life support only because he's an organ donor, he died Sunday afternoon.

I say you should have punched their f'in faces in.

When I was in my second year of college, I owned a 87 Cougar. I was on my way home durring a lite snow storm and came to a redlite. All of a sudden I heard a thud on my driverside and snow splash against the side of my car. [censored]ing kids through a snowball at my [censored]ing car! I stared at them and gave them the look of a duranged madman. They just looked at me with smiles on their faces like I wouldn't do anything. I should have put the 4-ways on and chanced the little brats down, but at the time I really didn't care to much because my car was far from perfect looking.

I NEVER in my life have ever understood the 'thrill' of destroying property. It is beyond my understanding why people do such things. The obvious reasons come to mind, jealousy, metal disorder, lack of respect, convict in training....

But I still don't understand it. You give people common courtesy and treat things right that are not your own, especially if they are a stranger.

It really pisses me off that they did that to your car Ken, because I know how pissed off I would have been if someone did that to my car. I would have chased those [censored]ers down and ran them over.... screw punching them in the face.... darwin at it's best, survival of the fitest... big car v. punck/brat/little [censored]-head.
