AZ NECO logo/vinyl design

Here we will discuss our logo design. I will upload and post whatever ideas I have, and let me know what you think.

Here is the 1st design.

I would try to stay away from the Cougar head in the state thing. Im also a Maryland Neco member and that is the way there "logo" is. Its the state outline of Maryland with the cougar head in the state. I have the sticker on my car. I think we should try to do something no other chapter has. Thats what I think, just a thought no a hate statement.

Actually, when we all got together the other night Bobby had a good design for a banner but we all talked about possibly putting the cougar head in the states outline with more color and what not. Please feel free to give us your input. I know it can be hard to give advise when you are not there but we are listening.

I'm with Tunes lets stay away from the state outline. I do like the cougar head.

I just thought of a cool design that might fly I will try to get it posted tonight or tomorrow. Everyone else try to come up with some ideas and we will pick one at the next meet.

When Is the next meet?

I know that Mike really wants to have a mod meet soon but I think we should do that when you get back since you have all that stuff going on with your cougar. I told everyone so far that I think we should go to Scottsdale Pavilions for the next meet. This because I want to make a NECO presence at the show before the summer is over. I'll be getting back with Mycat and Azbobbybooshay10 to see if they are up for that.

This meet at the Scottdale Pavillions is on Saturday August 7, right? If it is, I have asked for the day off, and I plan on going. What time does it start? This way I can have the car all cleaned up right before then. I would like to have the website up before then, so we can make a sign that has the website on it, so interested people can contact and join us. I can make business cards, too to hand out. I will work on a VERY BASIC design to maybe have on the cards. I will post it here either later tonight or early in the morning.

Well I was bored at work today and my boss let me use the computer for a little bit and this is what I came up with. By NO MEANS do I want the car to be the car to use if this goes through. Its only there to give an idea of something I would like to see there. I would like to use a cartoon pic if at all possible. Of course Im up to other ideas to improve this one or just forget about it and start another one. IF you have any input, good or bad, about this just post it here.

I would like to hold a modding meet soon, we can also set one up for when Tunes gets back. I also like the idea of business cards ( just a basic design ), I'm still up for the cougar head for a banner, but we can't forget not everyone is going to want to put the sticker on in the same place so we should have at least 3 designs, 1 for the windshield, 1 for the rear window and 1 for side windows and should let each member decide which they want to "sport" on their vehicle.

I like the idea of 3 ideas, how ever it will be costly. That means we have to have 3 silk screens, or whatever there called, done and you have to pay for that then you have to pay for the product itself. I like all the designs Ive seen so far, lets see if we can come up with some more just so we have a variety later.

Now we just need to decide on a windshield design (front or back, it can be the same design). We also need to make up a design for a business card. I will try to get the website up and running in the next week.

Hey Bobby I forgot to tell you to get rid of the www.newcougar.org. But yes this is what I had in mind for our homepage. It will have to be tweaked but this is the general design I think we should have for our website. What do you guys think?

Actually, I had planned on putting that on the rear window, so mine is going to be about 8" X 8". So if you get a chance, when you go to find out how much they will be, if you have mine printed while you are there I will pay you when I see you next, BTW if you do get it printed for me will you please, please change the black to silver. If not I will probably be going in the next few days.

OK, here is the vinyl design info I got from the place in Metrocenter.

Black and white=$15/sq.ft
Full digital color=I forgot what it was on my way home, ill check back in the morning. The same printing guarantee applies as the shirts. Same day delivery, except Friday and Saturday. Mike says he wants a sticker by Saturday for the show and so do I> Same goes for the vinyls as the shirts. If you want to get one, please let me know ASAP so I can get them ordered for the show Saturday.

That one is great! It would definitely look good on a T-shirt. Who is designing these? Is it Shilo? I'm not sure if you spell that with a I or Y. She should definitely be in charge of the designs for the T-shirts and what not.:bowdown:

Yeah, I agree with Byrd. She is very "artisticly blessed". I have yet to see anything she has designed that I DONT like! OK, Shilo is officially "AZ NECO Graphix designer"!!

Maybe she can come up with a design for the website name to put on our cars. I want it to read "www.azneco.com". Maybe she can work with some fonts and colors for us?
