Since I wasnt able to make it this year I was curious as to who won what...any pics of the winners with their works of art?

I won fastest drag strip time - zetec. @ 16.6. I was hoping for a lot lower however.

It wasn't and award category, but EricF was fastest autox regardless of class.

the ones i remember were:

fastest 1/4mile = Iceotron with and without nitrous
peoples choice = Skywalker with 13 votes? Dgnzcoug had 5, I had 6... i didn't hear any other specific numers...
then best exterior = racerx
best interior = crispy
best paint = puck
best of show = meeeeeee w00t!

i have actually done this and won a trophy at imporfest with my rsx and no mods.... it was just super duper clean.... so we bought a bag of chewy chips ahoy and would spread them all over the engine... the judge stared at it for a few minutes before realizing the hint.... and yes he picked one up and ate it :)

its no biggy man. You have the fastest all motor ATX, and that was what the trophy was for. You won it fair and sqaure.

no, no, i'm just confused... Several times the organizers said it was for anything that could possibly be done to an ATX, but then they said you didn't win... I think that you should have won, because the deciding factor wasn't mild/wild class, but ATX... you have the fastest car with an ATX... period...

me and pablo (yakko69) should have won shortest time at cougarfest. we drove 14hrs to get there, stayed for like 20, then drove 14 hrs back.

yes it was worth it though.


ps. Matt nice amps. do you play well? i'm ok. next cougarfest i will have my guitar pluged into my car.

ya man, i love playing... been doing so for... wow, has to be 4 or 5 years now. I remember the day i brought home my first guitar (the fender) like it was yesterday though. :) I know ALOT of metallica stuff but anything that has a good sounding riff, i try to learn :)

with the drag nitrous put you into the wild class atx or mtx. Just like Iceotron won both because he had the fast mtx time with and w/o the bottle.

And Bob might have won it "fair and square" but that was all ready after I had the trophy in my hand and the awards were done so call it what you will, Ill get it next year

Yep you will... I'm going 3 this winter... plus level10 tranny... it'll put me in this 'wild' class i guess, especailly if dgnzcoug was out with only N2O...

But i hope to have fastest N/A ATX... well see in the spring what i'll run for e/t's
