Seawulf, I was wondering how loud is your exhaust set-up? I know you mentioned in your past posts, when you first installed the straight-through Dynomax mufflers and 3" piping that it was pretty loud and you were considering running an additional muffler or resonator. Did you eventually install an additional muffler/resonator to bring down the sound levels?.....or are you running it as is?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm building a 2 1/2" exhaust system with a Dynomax Race Magnum Bullet Muffler. This muffler is a straight-through design similar to yours except it just has a perforated internal baffle without the fiberglass. I want to minimize any exhaust restrictions for the turbo, but I don't want it to be excessively loud.

If you have it exiting out the back, it will be loud but not obnoxiously so. Part of my problem is I have the tailpipe exiting right behind the drivers door so the sound is right there. Also the exhaust was bolted to the body with no insulation at the time and the exhausts vibration resonated though the body of the car making it even more loud. Fixing that made the car better. I have a 3" setup though, for your 2.5" you should be OK. I don't know, though it depends on what you can live with.

Here's what my car sounds like. The video isn't the best quality so it isn't a perfect sounding vid, it is a bit louder on the street.

EDIT: If it's too loud when you finally set it up. Magnaflow makes some streight through mufflers and they are considered quieter than dynomax.
