YAY! I finally have a story to post. SO, last night I was driving around to see if I could find some place I had to go to earlier today, to save me the time of searching for it. Well, coming down the road I see this thing sitting in the road. It looked small and there was traffic coming, so my only choice was to straddle it, and I didn't think twice about doing so. Well, once I passed over it, I heard a NASTY noise and felt it hit the undercarriage about 5 or 6 times. Well, since my body kit is fresh and I have a car show to go to tomorrow, my heart just drops. I am thinking I destroyed the kit/rims/blew a tire/ busted something important. Well, I pull over and look under my car, and thankfully, there's NOTHING, no scratches, dents, etc. So, with a huge smile on my face, I turned around and went back to see what the hell it was and to take it out of the road. I still have no idea what it is, and will follow this up with a picture, but it looks like 3 metal tubes that come together at one point and make almost a pyramid. I have NO idea what it would be, but god DAMN did it scare me. Some guy beeped at me while I was taking it out of the road, I almost wanted to throw it at his car and let him see personally what I was doing.

Side note, that's the 3rd @$$hole who's done something rude to me while I was clearing something out of the road. Does anyone else actually stop and pick up stuff like huge sticks, boxes, etc that will possibly cause accidents in order to do the right thing? Most people leave it there for the next person.

That sucks man. Yeah, i pick [censored] up and out the way. Lot of people just go around or drive over it, like fallen branches or w/e. One night when i came home for work there was a full exhaust laying in my apartment complex. It was pouring rain, but i moved it over into the grass anyway.

On the way to NOPI last summer, we were required to move large trees off the interstate.....
didn't help that we were driving through a hurricane... LOL

I've hit things before, my borla muffler has a good size dent in it, and prior, my stock one did too..
along with marks along the undercarriage, from a rock/boulder that rolled along under there.

I will personally thank you for being the guy who pulls garbage off the road. I wrecked $600 in practically new wheels and tires on my '65 Mustang one night because there was a 4X4 chunk of wood in the middle of the interstate. Didn't see it until I had 2 bent rims and 2 flat tires. Then about 3 other people hit it while I was trying to rush back and get it off the road, my wife about got hit in the head by a flying chunk of it after a Tahoe hit it but we finally got it.
