Just Wanted to say Hi

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to say hi, now that I am an official NECO member. Most of you already know my boyfriend, nadthomas (Dan). I would have popped in to say hello earlier, but lately I have been helping Dan with the recent engine swap we had to do to on my car aside from all kinds of other things we have had to do the car. I am no car buff by any means, but I am learning a lot. Today we are switching my rear suspension with Dan's stock springs. We already switched out the front, so that my front bumper wouldn't hang so low. Seeing as I still do not know how to drive a manual, learning with a low bumper I think would be a little nerve-wracking. Ha-ha, I know, I still do not know how to drive my car. Trust me, I am really getting antsy. I think Dan doesn't want to teach me, because he will have to go back to driving the ATX. I say TOO BAD. Anyway see ya out on the road guys....soon.

Good to see you on here. I'm kind of surprised that your username wasn't already used before. I think alot of people buy manual cars and have to learn on them before they can even drive it. No shame in that, especially when your anal boyfriend won't let you learn on his car.

I'd let you learn in my truck if first gear wasn't a fight to get into. Half the time i'm thinking about whether or not i should just throw it in second and try to take off in that gear. But ince i exert more torque while taking a [censored] than what my truck can produce it usually results in me revving the engine pretty high just to take off. But it usually goes into first after i have a fit and slam it in. One of these days it's going to break.

Uh...oops. Kinda hijacked a bit.
