Hey, I'm planning on putting my Cougar into a show this Saturday and it will be judged by Craig Lieberman himself, so I want to make sure I have a good setup.

I was thinking about a mirror under my exhaust? But, what am I showing off? I have a Borla exhaust and Varad LED kit back there.

And what about putting a large sheet of fabric under the car? Where would I get it? I looked at fabric stores, but they don't make sheets that size.

Or removing one of the tires to show off my suspension? I have Koni's, GC's and painted calipers, but stock rotors. Should I leave the tires on because of the rotors, or just cover the rotors up with something like a black cloth?

Any suggestions or thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Darrell.

What you will be showing off is that stainless steel exhaust! Shine it up good with some metal polish. Other than that, clean clean clean. Take the wheels off and clean evgerything, struts, springs, wheel wells, etc. It depends how far you want to go. You can paint the rusty hubs if you like. Be sure to slam the car, make it look aggressive.

It's up to you whether or not you want to take a wheel off. You do have a real good suspension setup, so its something to consider.

definitely, if you plan on taking wheels off or doing mirrors, make sure everything is absolutely spotless. Even if your car is daily driven, you don't want it to show.

I wouldnt personally do either of the things you suggested. Too much work in my opinion.

I show at least 2-3 times a month at large shows along with smaller local shows. Honestly i wouldn't pull the wheels off, but try sticking a mirror on the inside and one on the outside so there is a reflection around the tire, allowing your judges to see what you have under there. Make sure your car is clean, wash it b4 you go on that morning and then the whole process of detailing at the show. Henry is 100% correct! Clean clean and clean somemore! FYI:: Make sure to clean in the wheel wells, under bumbers and sideskirts, some judges will stick there finger under and in them to look for dirt. Also clean around all "nooks and crannys" of your engine bay and grill. Use Q-Tips if your fingers are to thick. Trust me NOPI judges did this to my car and it passed. (i got 1st)
