Speedometer Instrument Cluster?

If i put a 01 Speedometer Instrument Cluster in my 00 will that affect the mileage on the car? From what it sounds like i will start from what ever miles the 01 has on it is that true?

thats what i thought, is there anyway to make the 01 read what i have on the car now?

If you're getting the 01 cluster, just take the needles and the gauge face (it's a decal type thing) and transfer it to your existing cluster... problem solved.

^ yeah if you just want the look of the gauges, thats the best way to go :thumbsup:

Yup, that is also what I would recommend. Not only will you have problems showing the 01 clusters miles....you will also need your PATS reprogrammed. Plus you will get some warning lights unless the 01 had the same options your car has.

Just swap face and needles, save yourself the problem.
