Here's some pics from todays event. (http://excelcier.cougarfest.com/V6-2K4)

This is the third annual V6 Ford Challenge. (http://www.v6fordchallenge.com/) Hamill and I represented from NECO against other Ford V6 vehicles like the Mustangs, Rangers, T-birds, and a Probe. I scored best interior!

Looks are deceiving, however, there were exactly 20 cars there.

In a word... "lots!" heh! :)

but with you being my interior inspiration all winter... I am doing enough stuff to make YOU wet yourself this time.
think of it as payback for all those times that i've freaked out over the crazyness in your car... its my turn to return the favor.

At cougarfest, i will have my revenge! :cover:

I cleaned my engine bay :)

I think I might have had a shot at a trophy until that damn F150 showed up. The paint on that thing was sweet.

The fog machine is in and running but I have to adjust my piping as I'm getting a heat issue with the tubing getting soft. Soon though I hope.

nice pics and congrats but I gotta ask.. whats the deal with your front valance? cut that way or cracked off?

i'm 99% sure its cut that way... and I'd say its par for the course, since everything on Ron's car is just a bit 'diffrent' than what people would normally do. :)

Matts correct. It started out as a bad thing that I had to work with. I was rushed for an oil change 2 years back about a month after I had the Visteon front valence on and went to WalMart because I just didn't have the time. At that point I was not planning in getting more serious with the car. They measured the front overhand and guaranteed that it would fit on their ramp without damage so the guy gets in and plows into the ramp and crashes both the sides and @#$%S it up. They ended up paying me for a replacement front but I just kept the cash and trimmed it to the shape you see today. It'll do until I get a new bumper hopefully next year.

Thanks Jamie, I appreciate it and I was happy to see all the other V6 Fords out there too. I was happily surprised to see a Probe and a T-bird show up.

Awesome! I'm emailing you. So will we see you on June 26th? Hope so, I'd love to see your car driving and not 5 human powered! :) Poor Dan did get kinda shafted at the 11th hour there when the F150 showed up, but it's fair game.

So will there be any photos posted / magazine stuff from the Saturday event?

I'll answer about the magazine stuff......likely no. I think Jaime is going to have a tough enough time getting the race in there. I just lucked out HUGE last year getting my pic in there.
