Hi....just wondering if anyone works for, or has any friends in the DMV in Harrisburg. I've have been waiting for the title to my new truck to come back from the 'reconstructed' title office for about 7 weeks now, and my old truck is getting REALLY scary. Is there anyone that might be able to check on this from the inside? The phone number never gets answered, and when it does, they never can tell you anything. Thanks.

i don't work for the dmv, but i do know that r titles take along time to process. a friend of mine took two hyundai elantras and made one. took months for the title to come back.

I've probably done 10 R titles in the past 3 or 4 years, and I've NEVER waited this long. It's been gone almost 2 months now. I'd like to just drive down there and storm the place, grabbing my title off the desk of the fatass coffee drinker that has been letting sit around all this time instead of processing the damn thing and getting it back to me. How freakin' long can it take to look at 4 pictures and print out a damn title. The notary that I sent it out through has had 3 or 4 of them come back that she sent out AFTER mine! If there is a problem with it, it comes back RIGHT AWAY so you can fix the problem. They cashed my check on April 13th, but I still have no title. Meanwhile, I have an almost brand new F150 just sitting in the garage, while I'm using my beat and batter Nissan for my business. If it finally kicks the bucket and I end up missing work, I should send Harrisburg the freakin' bill.
Sorry for the rant...lol....I was just hoping since a lot of you are from the Harrisburg way that maybe someone either worked for DMV or knew someone that did and could check up on this for me...I tried calling, but they said all they can tell me is the day it went into the system.

you just gotta let it out......i've heard horror stories from the dmv. i'll add this one to the list.
