Ok, I wasn't sure which section to post, so I figured I'd start here first...some know i've redone my interior (pics (http://photos.yahoo.com/dizzy_chicka)) I had an Idea for my face gauges, but am having some trouble finding what I want.

anyway, my idea is for black face gauges with orange numbers.

where the silver is in the picture, I want it black and the numbers and parts that glow at night, I want them orange during the day, and light up orange during the night.

if I can't do that, is it possible or practical to buy a face gauge, and paint it the custom color my interior is decked out in? and leave the numbers stock as they are? (I have orange LED's to light up the gauges which i plan to swap out)

I think your best bet for something like that is Intricate Lines, you know, Crispy's sponsor?

** note to Crispy - any idea how long it took me to learn how to spell "intricate" correctly? ;) **

They do a great custom gauge set for the Cougar and would be more than happy to work with you. Check out their Cougar gauge packages here (http://www.intricatelines.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=ILOS&Category_Code=CG).

BTW, the interior looks really nice. Mod posse work or did you do it all yourself?

he speaks the truth... those red and black gauges you see are mine and the first set that he has made.. many have even more wild designs - yes, he can nail exactly what you want - as simple as orange lighting on a black face or as wild and extreme as you can dream up... it will tie your interior in and make it one of a kind...

Everyone has pretty much already spoken the 2 best options, but I just wanted to encourage you that both of these are great choices. I personally got mine from speedhut.com and they are totally custom(sorry haven't taken pics yet) and only cost me 125 bucks. All I can say is they are amazing and I have literally had people follow me until I pull in somewhere just to check out my gauges (and they have only been on for about a week and a half! As for intricate lines, I have never owned any of Bryans gauges, but I have seen his work and it is nothing short of perfect! Either one is a great choice, however if you are going to change the gauges to orange I think you should change the screens that sit below the gauges to orange also. It is really not hard to do at all, you just have to be careful. If you want more info regarding the how to on changing the color of the screens just let me know and I will help you out.

Good Luck

Jamie
