Hey...newbie here....but not new to Cougars. I own a 99 V6 with a stock 6 disc CD changer. I have a stuck CD in the unit that I can't remove. Any help can be appreciated. You can email me at svnurlife@aol.com.

did you try taking it apart yet? Thats what i would do first.

i had 6 cds stuck in there at one time... it just stopped workin for like a month, then came off strike or something. damn things suck. you can try taking it apart, i did, but the changer mechanism is all plastic and it takes quite a bit of crackin to get a cd out. my 4th slot is no longer in operation.

I took off the covers off the CD changer and manually moved the CD back to the magazine...then I hooked it back up without the covers on and the darn thing reloaded the stuck CD. It still won't unload the CD when I hit the yellow button. Is there a way to manually release the magazine when you get the CD back in?
