Cougarfest - roomies

So who is going to Cougarfest anyway, I haven't heard much talk of it. And who's rooming with who?

As usual I wait until the last minute to look for roommates. I'm trying to do this as inexpensively as possible, so I have no problem crashing on the floor in someone's room. Or if someone is looking for a room, I don't mind going and booking a room as long as I know I have roommates.

I can't find any information on booking rooms either, but I'm still looking.

I'm probably going to be going down to CF alone (fiancee has neon fest? 2004 same weekend), so if that is the case I'll split a room with people. I MIGHT be coming down with a friend so I can trailer the car down, but that s a longshot.

I agree though. supprized not to many poeple have been talking about this yet.. Where was Heather on that one? :biggrin:

Chris... not sure if your interested but from what I was told earlier any CF committee member (ummm me) has the opportunity to book a suite - infact we are the only people that can get the suites -

Seeing as I assume those are more expensive I would gladly share my room with you and the lady or friend if you were interested.. I'm registered but I have not paid yet. - depending on how big it is I might share it with another person or two even if thats possible...

Rooms are supposed to be limited to 4 people max.

i could see 9...tight squeze for sure, but if you use the trunk, im sure you could fit three in there. either way, that cougar must of been so damn low to the ground with all that weight.

back to the rooming... i don't have a credit card so how is this gonna work???

Well, I thought I was gonna be rooming with Mary and Heather :naughty: BUT it turns out that Mary will be rooming with LostRacer, so Heather and I are looking for 2 more roomies.. She's ready to book the room already..

i don't know about this year or last.. but when i went 2 years ago they made sure there were only 4 to a room
when you registered you had to say what room you were staying in
that's because we had to have so many rooms booked in order to pay for our parking spot rental or something
i'm sure someone else up on high could tell us more

I believe the Clarion is the same hotel as Hard Core Kitty Convention last year... and they didn't seem too strict...

It is, and they aren't. Plus the rooms are pretty big, so it would be easy to get more than 4 in a room.
