Okay I am sure that it is posted somewhere on the forum, but I have searched and not been able to find it. I think my computer is cursed because I can never find what I am looking for on the forums.

Anyway, I am looking for a how to on removing the center console of a 99 atx. No I am not talking about the dash, since the few things I have found on center consoles people give a reply of how to remove the dash. I already have the dash apart, so I am wanting to know how to remove the center console? Thanks

Jamie

Pretty simple man. Remove the two screws that are inside the compartment under the arm rest. Then pop the cap and remove the screw on each side towards the front of the center console. Then remove the ash tray and you'll find two more scres there. Once all that's done all you have to do is pull off your shifter and pull out the center console. I believe that's all there is to it. Somebody will correct me if i'm wrong or missed something.

You got everything.. It's tricky trying to get the console actually out. You have to pull the ebrake as far as it can go, almost straight up.

I think there are 4 screws under the armrest, but that doesn't matter much.

*edit* nevermind you were right, there are only 2, just checked
