thou shalt not rattle. i dont care if i have to drop $100 on rubber strips or anything, i aint gon let it rattle. i can see as where that would be a problem though. thanks for the advice

thats why i went with as subtle look for the top as possible, i may end up painting them black now that i think about it so you couldnt see it unless looking for it.

rubber strips are not going to stop the coponents inside the amp not to mention the screws on the amp from becoming annoying as piss...but hey .....to each his own...good luck

I had mine like that for a while, the damn cover would eventually come loose and fall out of the track. SO I put 2 10"s there instead to really have a load of problems. A few rubber pads off a table helped keep everything stationary, but still bounces.

sorry to bring up this old thread, but i just took it out for a spin since i have my car goin again, and it didnt make a single bit of noise. it does bounce, and i'll have to figure out some way to stop that, possibly a set of removable legs to go down to the floor for drivin or something.

You could add some sort of bracket that would extend from the side of the trunk.
