Okay, I searched for a while then just decided to ask real fast. What does an install of a tranny cooler for an MTX take? Like time, tools, knowledge, etc. I m just curious because Im looking to install one this winter but would like to know the details before I do.
Also what is recommended sizing and brand on the boards? I know B&M makes some, but have no idea with size etc. Especially since I have the Drift front and alot of open space, Id love to fill next to the radiator.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

From what I've read on here MTX cougars do not need tranny coolers. I believe it was because operating temps do not reach as high as the ATX tranny.
Im not even sure if the MTX has lines to hook it up, because when I did my tranny cooler there were lines that went from the cooler thats right next to the radiator and back to the tranny. The MTX cougar does not have that cooler, i believe.

a trans cooler on a MTX cougar is not really going to be as efficient as it would be on a ATX as cboy has pointed out. The atx(cd4e) in our vehicles sustain very high temps when operating so any extra cooling that can be added IS needed.
