Which exhaust tip shoud I get? poll

As soon as I decide on a tip Im going to order things up.
Hoping no later than tues/wed.

Doing what I did with the 99 (yo-dude) - and getting a Trubenz for the 01 - DUAL EXHAUST with flowmaster muff :biggrin:
Also getting a test pipe and getting rid of the cat

Now if anyone knows the REAL difference between 3 and 4 PLEASE let me know - i can see a length difference and if thats all - how much longer?

To me it looks like T3 is about 1 and 1/2 what T4 is, just using the end that fits on the pipe as a reference. I think that's about the only difference. I thought T4 was a little flatter of an oval, but when I look at it again, I think it's just the length. That's probably why the numbers are so close anyway. Shoot an email to the company if you want. I don't like that square tip though, I don't think it would look good. The tips I have on my Pace-Setter look great IMHO, just a 3" circle chrome tip, no angle on the cut.

yea, i dont think you'll be able to tell a difference between the t3 and t4 once installed

the pipes im getting are only 2.5"

i dont want to put a huge tip on the end - i know it'll look really funny

i dont want people being like hey - wow huge tips - haha - i can almost fit my head in there

Every person I know with ANY Ractive product relating to exausts they have rusted out like crazy after a year.

Magnaflow tips are nice aswell. :)

EDIT: The T3 looks like a magnaflow tip, the T4 looks like another ractive, the T3 is longer.

I would have to say the T03. That way if you want you can extend the tips out further or keep em tucked back...With the t04 you are more limited...stay away from the t12...would look like $hit.

I voted for the T-03, but I also wanted to give ya something else to think about.....I have 3.5 inch tips that are rolled, but their not cut at an angle. Personally I think they look good.

i was actually considering those same tips - but i decided against dual tips b/c i dont want it to affect the body kit i can get for the car - meaning the tips will be too wide to fit

Those are basically what I have, except I have single tips.

i like the look of the T-04 best i like the slanted down look. i hate square tips. plus, the cougar has all round elements to it, so the square tips qould not match at all.

yeah - that means u cant buy them seperately - which means u have to buy the exhaust kit as well

i know ill be paying an extra $60-65 for the ones im getting

personally i think the angle cut 3 inch chrome tip that comes on the dual kits looks way better than any of those other tips.

i'll attach the only pics i can find of them on my car.

my old 99 cougar was the same color as yours - and i had the same tips too on my last yodude exhaust kit

i just wanted to do things differently with the 01 coug - thats all - otherwise - yeah id prolly be doing those tips again too

got dual flowmasters, test pipe w/o cat, mil, and t-03 tip

cant wait to have it put on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
