Pretty much title says it. Has anyone Used the $59.99 Lambodoors.com and was sucessful with the conversion. He has a ugly modded Cougar on there with VDC. I want to so bad and everyone has dragged this subject out, and I can see why with $1500 price tag. Proubly gonna start soon with shaving the door handles off and deleting body contour plastic piece on the door. I think I am making a custom 3rd brake light this weekend. Please post responses on the VDC
Personal opinion: I think that is one of the lamest ideas, it's just another cookie cutter mod. Personally, I am glad to be getting out of this whole thing, the "domestic import" thing. It's like legos, you choose from standard peices, and slap them on to make your car "original". Yet NO BODY has an original "domestic import"....or import for that matter. Lambo doors are on the expensive side, but a cookie cutter modification nontheless.
The other day I saw the best looking Cougar yet. It was completly stock...which is original AND looks better than any other on the road.
Now gullwing doors....THAT would be cool. The main problem I have with lambodoors, is that it will soon be all too common.

well I agree with the common issue tyhing without a doubt. but to be honest the only one I am trying to impress is myself, no offense. I personally like the look, Shave the door handles off and the Lambo doors would look pretty scwett to me. My father in law has a New Mini S and he thought about doing it too,

There's no frame around our door to connect to the car...I've seriously thought about this but we have no door frame around the glass. :( Stupid Germans.
