It's a nice idea... but they use the front plate to get a bead on you when using laser for speed traps. Odds of the State Police allowing this to get through are about zero.
Sorry. :)

First off, the plate is not what we give's us the signal back for LIDAR we can get it off any part of the car, its just a good target, second, its good PC for pulling over a car that is suspicous, but not quite suspicous enough just to pull over. It won't happen in this state for a long time.
Oh yeah, and also, there are alot of oldtimers that pull people over for that too, its not just pricks and rookies.

Honestly i think it's a waste. the front tags, more money for the gov. and state. i personaly can't see how a front tag can be so important. it looks like CRAP on nice cars and you have to go out of your way to attach it to you car when there not factory bumpers, and then they fall off and such.

i talked to alot of old timmers and they said they have better stuff to do than that and cant belive a cop wasted there time for it
While I can see the advantages and disadvantages of the front tags, Rusty does know something about it considering he works as a police officer... ;)
Hi Rusty, glad to see you're still around. Hope to see you soon! :)

I admitt most of it is just a way for the Gov't to get more money, but, when was the last time you were looking for a car commited in a serious crime, and all you really have is the vehicle and tag number, watching the cars go at your is a good way to see them coming before they can elude you.
Hey tigg, im still around, i might even be able to start coming to a few meet's here and there now.
