Viper 791 XV Remote LED

I posted this in the audio section to but, it could fit here better, so i've been reading the boards because i want to change my interior led's to blue and i got this idea of changing the color of my remote led. Right now it is orange. I know there has to be someone else that has either this alarm or the 790, so is there any way of changing the led in the remote? I coulnd't figure out how to open it either?

changing the led in the remote??? as in the keyfob??? that light neva comes on...I have a 791 and I dont think i have ever seen the light come on on the remote unless im putting a new battery in it and it does its whole song and dance at begining.

You want to change the alarm LED? If so, it's just a direct replacement... make sure you know the voltage being used, and go from there.

St8LyRaVn, you can go into the options for your remote by holding down all four buttons at once for a couple of seconds, once there you can set your remote to vibrate instead of beep or have the light come on instead of never coming on. You can do other things to, i've never messed with them though. I want to change the color of my remotes led not the alarm led. Hope this is more explanatory
