Well you guys listened to the whinning now you get to hear the good parts too.
The B!tching (http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=59&threadid=94230)
Firt off after three weeks of talking back and forth and finally threats of me taking him to
court I finally got the owner of that first house to pay me all the money for the inspections and appraisal.
So we got all that money back:banana::beer:
That's cool
Then Mon. we just closed on the house in Lafeyette.
And the closing costs were less than half what we thought they would be.
We'll have the keys next Friday!!!
Two car garage, barn(heated), shed, 2 acres (fenced)
Full basement, three bedrooms and one bathroom.
Did I mention it's 6minutes (I timed it) from Smith Rd. Motor cross track!!!
About 25mintues from Norwalk Race Way and 15-20min. from Drag Way 42!!!!!!!!!!:evil:
GO HERE FOR THE PICS (http://www.domesticcompact.com/news/house_lowres/0034.htm)
sorry they aren't really in order and they aren't the best but it gives you an idea.
The measurements for the new carpet is Friday so no worries that old crap is getting torn up soon.
and my Dad and I will be installing ceramic tile within the next month(bathroom and kitchen)
New Oven/stove and fridge arriving Friday (all brushed aluminum and flat top stove)
The seperate room in the basement with the brown carpet is perfect for my drums and the amps.
we're donating the old Oven and fridge for nice fat tax write offs and keeping one fridge in the garage for beers
Didn't get pics of the yard cause it was to dark. The barn door opens to a drive way that goes out to the road
I thought that was pretty cool. I'm happy with it!

Sweet man, congrats!
So when do we have a party to break in the new home?
gyger

As soon as we get in there we have a new fridge and stove going in and it'll be two more weeks
before the carpet gets here so we are waiting until after that.
But don't worry mang we're gonna have a cookout (NECO members invited of course) plus
all of my lush friends:biggrin:
I'll make sure I give plenty of notice before hand.

Excellent............
Sounds like a perfect time for me to bring some good MILLER beer and some Johnsonville BRATS.
WI-BOY needs to break in the Ohio people properly.
Congrats on the house man, is it your first? I can't wait till the day I can buy my first house!
Sounds like a ideal place, large yard (think dog), garage space(time to get mod happy), basement (think recording studio).
You are one lucky man!:cool:

See, the other house fell thru and sounds like you got an even better deal. It all happened for a reason. Congrats on everything :)

Duuuude, that's awesome. I haven't been there yet, but I hear it's nice. I might have to go out there and catch some Moto-X sometime.

Hey congrats Gyger on the new house. After reading a few weeks ago about all that other stuff you were having to go through I got a headache! As for the closeness of all of the tracks, it just goes to show great things come to those who wait. Anyway have fun moving in and keep us updated on the party.

CougarGT: yeah bring some beer and Brats my wife will be in heaven(damn cheese heads:grin;)
yup it's our first house.
Sounds like a ideal place, large yard (think dog), garage space(time to get mod happy), basement (think recording studio).
Oh yeah I forgot to mention it has two big dog runs on a concrete slab it's pretty cool. We'll probably be
taking my parents wolf/dog Emma with us. Oh and trust me I have a stack of mods that I've been waiting
to install. Now I'll finally have the space to do it.
Jeff: I'm not sure about trails but it's in the country I'm sure we could fine something
silverkat: Yeah I guess it happened for a reason. I didn't know you like Moto X
jlcamp7: thanks man
Jason: Thanks man. Don't worry it'll just be called a road trip when we meet up instead of going to
Lisa and Jason's or Mike and Brooke's:)

LOVE it.
So are you and Pyro close to eachother?
Bexcat

Diane you love MX! So what do you think about RC going to Suzuki?
silverkat
04-16-2004, 06:21 PM
I don't follow MX news super close, but I guess it's OK. We've always had Hondas so maybe I'm partial. But does this excite you in the fact that you own a Suzuki or do you not like Ricky?
And I don't want to jack Gyger's thread either.

once again I figured if you guys were putting up with my b!tching you deserve to hear the good parts too.
We'll have the keys tuesday and we just found out the owners are leaving
a fridge/freezer in the garage the fridge in the house, washer, dryer, oven/stove, and
a big box freezer in the basement. And in the barn they are leaving shelving units and
the guy Jim put aside a bunch of bolt/screws/washers/nuts that he had for me.
oh and they left all the storage racks and shelving for us in the basement too.
So I'm even more excited now I'll have pictures soon.

Yeah that'd be cool I figure if we are working on cougars it would be in the garage
there is plenty of room.
In the winter I'll probably park the Prizm in the barn that way we don't have to wipe snow
off of any cars. That will be cool. Brooke is just happy to have the eclipse in a garage.
I just have to figure out where to park the truck it's to big to get in the barn or garage.

Thanks guys
Aaron it's a wood burning stove and it's cool I have one in the barn and one in the basement too.
well it's sunday about 1 AM I have work tomorrow morning:puke:
and it took from Thursday night to NOW to get moved in.
Now just waiting on the new carpet before we un pack everything.
Sucks cause we are going to be living around a bunch of boxes for another 3-4 weeks
but it'll be worth it to wait until the new carpet is down.
CougarGT yeah the basement ROCKS I can't wait to move the drums and amps in.

Looks good Mike. Looks like the kitchen has been updated, big + there if it has.
The work is just beginning......
My past Sat. work load: Fertilize rear grass, plant bushes, spread 1cyd. of mulch, rototill and hand rake the front yard in Prep for new grass (hauled 4 wheel barrows of rocks and other debris out of front), and Sun I leveled the front sidewalk.
Should be planting the front yard this week, if it dries out:rolleyes:
