I got the new Super Street today and saw the schedule for HIN. July 17 is my bday and I think me and my g/f are going down for that weekend.

Is anybody else from the boards going?

Suggest going? Something pretty impressive?

I went to the last one that came through Boston and it was a piss-poor showing.

There were cars in there that were unwashed, unwaxed, smeares on the windows, cracked & poorly painted bodykits...horrible. One of the cars was a freakin' 90's Dodge Caravan with barely anything done. There were 350z's everywhere and everyone was trying to outdo the person next to them with their system, along with the live DJ going through the whole place.

It was $25 to get in and $50 if you wanted to show your car. It was a better deal to show your car for $25 more because you were guaranteed to at least have yours be one of the cleanest ones there.

If I have a shot at winning something for having a clean car then I will go! This is the weekend before Cougarfest too. I want to go to a few shows this summer so I think I am interested.

well then - i don't think im going. rather spend the money from the trip to buy tires and rims :)

i personally thought it was a good show. i went last year and there was plenty of entertainment and some nice cars. there were some bad apples but you get those everywhere.

word of advice--don't bring the G/F!!! last year my buddy brought his gf with us and she complained the whole timea nd then got real mad at him for taking pics with the models
