Well, not really.
I have a set and based on how they're packed (wrapped in a styrofoam sleeve and again wrapped in bubblewrap) you'd be under the assumtion that these are very fragile. Just holding them they feel like they won't take much abuse.
They are about the thickness of the plastic ink tube in a pen, but made of glass.

...That would be me. Second day out, I came home to snap some more shots and my passenger side high beam ring was dead. The others work just fine. Could have been the fact that I didn't use as much glue on that one, so the mounting job had less give to it. They just tore up the main strip in town to put in a sewer system for a big chemical company, and all the snow from the winter and now the rain has torn up the giant patch job they did. It's one big friggin pothole. I contacted Umnitza and we talked through the problem. Another ring should be in the mail.
My advice when mounting is not to be too overly stingy with the glue. Sure it may make drying take longer, but the extra little bit of shock-proof protection it gives is a big help. All my friends are jelous and I still vouch for this stuff 100%. It looks so great it's worth it.
