Well it's time for us to renew our domain name registration and hosting. For the last 2 years we have been using doteasy.com

While doteasy does have some limitations as to available programing languages (without paying more $ to upgrade) I do think all in all they have provided great service. To my knowledge our host was only down 2 days in the 2 years we have used them.

If we renew the cost is as follows:

1 year renewal: $25.00 -- $2.08/month
2 year renewal: $45.00 ($22.50/year) -- $1.88/month
5 year renewal: $90.00 ($18.00/year) -- $1.50/month

What those costs provide are:
No Banners or Pop-up Ads
www.yourdomain.com Hosting
20 MB Web Storage
1 GB Monthly Transfer
Domain Forwarding
10 POP/Web Email Accounts
Webmail Access
Email Forwarding, Autoresponder
Plug-in Tools: Hitcounter, Email-Form, etc
Free Tech Support
24/7 Network Monitoring

We need to renew or/ change our service by the end of May.

For those of you that don't remember or weren't around when we first started the hosting I took donations to pay for the hosting. I had people paypal me the money and once we had enough I started our subscription. The name/hosting is in my name (since I have to use my credit card to pay for it).

Unless there are any objections I thought we would just continue using doteasy for our domain name registration and hosting and I will take donations as I did before to pay for it. Also as a side note for a period of at least 2 months I will put the names of those that donated on our home page with a thank you message.

Please let me know what you all think.

Thank you,
Jason Mitter / Cat88Extreme

Also I would like to again thank the people that donated last time providing the $ for our website for the past 2 years.

Brian McHattie (racerx), Janelle Boucher (Janelly), Mark Blake (Linkman), Brian Rees (Cougar0102), John Mambourg (Madcat) & Mike Dudas (Gyger).

I would also like to thank Mike Dudas (Gyger) for all the help he has provided over the last 2 years with web programing advice and graphic design work.

I hope you all like the website and find it easy to use as well as a great resource. It has went through many revisions over the years to get to where it is now. If you have any suggestions I am open to any and all help.

Jason, I ll donate just not right now. I think I can pick up a pretty large chunk of that, just going to have to give me a few weeks to see how much I ll have at home and at school to spend. But just PM me how you want me to send you money.. Thanks and the site looks great as always!

Heh, yea, me too :)

I'm happy to throw a couple of bucks to the web site. Expect a PM, but when I'm not at work... they be strict here.

Thanks man I appreciate it.:)
That seems to be a pretty good price as far as hosting and domain registrar.
I'll donate 8 bucks. When do you want me to drop it off?
what are we getting the 2 year plan?

I hope to at least get the 2 yr plan. It all depends on how much people want to donate as to which plan we get. I'll give this thread at least a day or so before I post how to donate, just to make sure there is a concensus as to what we should do.

Count me in to donate 15 or 20 bucks!! I know I am not yet registered on the Ohio NECO yet, only because I was waiting for my car to get out of the shop so I could post pics with the full body kit.
