Dent day!!!

I am a new member here so nice to meet everybody. Anyway my girlfriend and I have been very involved with a car club that she belongs to and they hve meets about once every six weeks for norcal s2000 owners. A couple of months ago We set up a meet and had a very reputable paintless dent removal guy come out. He does great work and charges much less to come out and see a group of people than just one car. Would anybody be interested. We could find a central meeting point at a park and make a barbaque out of it or something. We always have lots of fun with the S2000 owners, but I am getting sick of only seeing imports at car meets.:)

WELCOME!!!! :biggrin: Thats a great idea! We were at one time pretty consistent for about 4 months or so in having meets. But with all of our members spread out all over Northern California, its hard to be able to tend to everyones hechtic schedules. But none the less we try our best. Not sure how many are interested, but how about we plan for HIN on Apr. 24th? Its in a couple weeks and not a bad idea I think.

I will have to check with the dent guy and my girlfriend to see when we will be free. But the dent guy normally only will come out if he has t least 5 or 6 dents to do. He charges $20 per dent and has been known to make deals if enough people show up. We have to make it worth his time. Normally he charges like $100 just to show up and $50 per dent after that. He is the owner of West Coast Dents and he can work magic on door dings. I already have 3 parkinglot dings for him so we would be halfway there. But even if we can't get enough people together for him to show up it would still be cool to meet sometime.

I you guys are interested we just need to get at least 4 cars or so to make it worth his while. We could find a meeting place that would work for where everybody may be coming from and make a BBQ out of it. This guy does great work, and it could be a good chance to meet other cougar owners in the Bay Area.:)

I have to go back to a family get together for a couple of weeks and will not be back in town until about june 20 or so. so maybe the last weekend in june or the first couple of weekends in july I will be around. If one of these would work for all of us I will get a hold of west coast dents and see if it will work for them. As for meeting where do you guys normally meet. The last dent day I went to was in a parking lot in union city, it just happened to work for everybody. So I am open to anyplace, I live all the way out in Brentwood, so I am used to traveling 100 miles for a meet:)

Yeah, last week of june or first week of july would work. As far as location, it would more than likely be somewhere in the bay area seeing that 90% of NorCal NECO lives there, lol lol.

The guy that does the work will travel about anywhere. I live in the east bay but I am also open to going to the sf side. If anybody knows of any good parks where we could meet and maybe grill some Meat, that would be cool:biggrin: is the San Ramon are too far out of the way, I know of some places there.
