i remember a looooong time ago someone in florida had done a hide away license plate. does anybody have pictures?? has anybody else done this? i think we should get a hideaway license plate for the coug!!! :)

It's not a "hide away" ....Al here in FL has a plate that has 8, if I remember correctly, bulbs that are behind the fold down plate.....and they're bright as hell!!!! I don't have the pics, but I'm sure someone does. There may even be a video floating around somewhere with it :shrug:

i wouldnt think itd be too terribly difficult to make one that rotates around a central axis with a motor hooked to the axis and have whatever you want on the backside. as pictured in this magnificent illustration...

it would be pretty hard to do.....you would have to cut away part of the bumper and then find a way to "stop" the plate from flipping over and over....
I think it would be easier to make the plate "drop" into the bumper like toast in a toaster, revealing something behind it....that would be tricky too....but either way you would have a 007 cougar LOL
