ok... i installed some hotwires 2 5' sections behind my flamed gauges.. i connected it 2 a 12v source and seems 2 work.. but i noticed in the transformer box it gives off a constant noise.. how do i stop that.. and also i want 2 connect these 2 my headlight swith.. how do i do this? what wires go 2 waht wires...

Mine makes a slight noise. Just stuff the transformer somwhere so it wont emit so loud. There is a wire going into the headlight switch that you can tap into. Cant remember the color, but im sure someone else can.

I believe you can tap into the orange with blue tracer. Thats what i have my reverse glow gauges tapped to. There is also a red with blue tracer that you can tap into.

Transformer will make a high pitched whine... keep in mind it's amplifying a small current/voltage into something much greater, in order to 'illuminate' the wire.
