I wasn't really sure what catagory to put this in, so since it would involve the interior I just put it on the is one. My brother had a Maxima and had like 5 or 6 good hiding places for stuff like cigarettes and cigars that my parents wouldn't allow if they knew I had them. Anybody have any suggestions about a place to keep stuff in a 99' Cougar?

Back seats lift up, walls in trunk (carpet) move freely, and depending on size of item, you could shove it behind the A pillars, too.

the best place i found is to hide sh*t is under the cup holder between the rear seats. it just lifts right up

i dont know how the 99-00 cougar center consoles are set up really, but in my 01 i can thake the cup holder up and out and fill in the area under the console. either that or possible setup a little baggy-type deal under your ebrake boot or better yet under the shifter boot. also the "ashtray" thing just slide right out.
but i guess the ultimate thing to do would to make a false floor under the drivers seat and carptet it the same, made out of really thin stuff and just throw stuff under there. i havent checked if that idea would even work, but it sounds good.

I have these secret compartments installed for smuggling. Who ever thought I'd be using them to smuggle myself one day...
