I was wondering if anyone has taken the "skins" off of their seats? I have leather seats, but I want to add some suede insert pieces. I was wondering how hard it would be to do something like that? I have my car pretty close to being done for this years season, and I really want to add the last few touches including the suede inserts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It involves stripping the seat down, removing the old piece of "leather" and sewing in a new piece of suede. How "hard" it is depends on your abilities as a seamstress

There are some things best left up to the pros. This is one of those things. For best results take it to an upholstery shop.

The leather on the 99's is bonded to the foam, making what you want to do virtually impossible.
