dome light removal

I own the 1999 i4 mtx, k?

It has the simple on/off light switch, no buttons that light up or anything fancy like the newer models.

How do I removie the outter plastic piece to paint it?

take a thin screwdriver to the light assembly and pry it outta the holder.. it will pop down and you will see how to disconnect the wires to it..

Once you remove the light assembly look up in there and you will see the torx screws that are holding it up - remove those and pull er down.
