hey guys...my car came without fog lights, i am under an assumption that cars that were sold w/o the lights would still have wires going to where the lights should be, i also assume these just "snap" into locations. are these assumptions correct?

only way to figure that out is to pop your head under and see. Also, when you pull the headlight knob, does it pop out?

Ask Rastaman...he had the same issue. I'm not sure what he did though, but I can tell you that his fogs did not work after he installed them.

my fogs don't work because i'm missing a fog light relay...you can find the part number by doing a search, but i'm too lazy...besides, once i get my HIDs, it won't matter...right lance? ;) but the wiring was there...although i've heard rumors that some people do not have it...i think basically if you got the convenience package you had the wiring, if you didn't, then no wiring...but thats just the rumor...best way to be sure is to pop out the plastic covers and see if the connectors are there...they should be blue, and have covers on them (to protect them from corrosion i assume)...
also, if your car didn't come with foglights, your headlight knob will not pull out...i bought one that does pull out from a member with a wrecked cougar...once you get that, all you need is the relay and it should be fine...

FYI, there is a guy on the boards selling some right now for dirt cheap: stock fogs... (http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=6&threadid=95584)

Aj:
I went to see the guy on the other ballast, and it turns out it's not like the other one I have. So I'm back to square one, looking for another ballast to match the one I have for you. I must have 6 HID headlights, and they all have a different style ballast!
