ok, so for a long time now we have had a cordless phone here in my grandma's apartment. Now the quality here sucks in the first place, the 900mhz nad 2.4ghz technology hasn't even arrived here yet. Cordless phones is like the "new" thing.
Anyway, we got it for X-mas for my grandma. no one has had any problems with this phone but me. Now today I use it and again it's got such a low volume I cannot hear sh!t. So i think to myself, what's different from me to my mom, brother and grandma that would f up the phone. I am not deaf, so scratch that idea :), and then I realize my retainer is METAL. I take it out and make another call and it's fine. I put back in my retainer and guess what, the volumes low again.
the retainer is normal red with the metal bar across your teeth and it messes up the cordless phone.
how stupid is that?
